Our Chosen Charities

Through corporate and individual fund raising and volunteering, this year we are supporting three charities dear to our heart which are doing amazing work in the most difficult circumstances.

Cope Foundation

The Cope Foundation works tirelessly to support children and adults with intellectual disabilities or autism. This year’s advocacy campaign, launched in May, is Grand Job? #GrandJob

The aim of Grand Job? is to support people with intellectual disabilities to find paid employment. Grand Job? is our first advocacy campaign to change things for the better for the people we support in the area of employment and work.

St. Vincent de Paul

SVP, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, is working for social justice and practical support to people in need.

Their focus is on practical approach to dealing with poverty, alleviating its effects on individuals and families through working primarily in person-to-person contact by a unique system of family visitation and seeking to achieve social justice and equality of opportunity for all citizens.

In addition to providing direct assistance to those in need, caring for the homeless, providing social housing, operating holiday homes and other social support activities, the Society promotes community self-sufficiency, enabling people to help themselves. Any assistance offered by the Society is given in a non-judgemental spirit, based on the needs of the individual or family seeking help.

Please help SVP in any way you can. http://www.svp.ie

Cork ARC Cancer Support

Cork ARC Cancer Support is a safe haven for people with cancer and their families, where you can find information, practical help and emotional support. Cork ARC was established to provide a centre in which people with cancer and their families can find emotional support, practical help and trust. Our aim is to provide therapies that complement the medical model and adhere to best practice, so as to make a difference to the lives of those affected by cancer.

Whatever stage of your diagnosis or treatment, we believe that no one should have to do it alone.
If you are a cancer patient or someone close to you has cancer, we are here to offer you specialist professional support.  We also offer bereavement support.
Every donation helps, no matter how big or small. You can help us make a difference to cancer patients and their families. We need your help in order to continue to provide our services free of charge.
