Losses were capped by optimism overa US-China trade framework, which reduced demand for the safe-haven dollar.The EUR/GBP rate edged 0.5% higher at 0.8760, as the Pound weakenedfollowing data from the British Retail Consortium showing UK shop inflationslowing to 1% in October from 1.4% in September, reinforcing expectations offurther BoE rate cuts.
