Crude oil prices fell on Wednesday weighed by diplomatic signals suggesting
renewed efforts to negotiate an end to the Russia-Ukraine war. Reports
indicated the U.S. is pushing a draft peace framework involving territorial and
military concessions by Kyiv, while alternative dialogue formats were discussed
by Ukraine and Turkey. Hence, Brent crude dropped by 2%, settling at $63.51
per barrel.
