Crude oil prices decreased on Friday, as OPEC forecast a broadly balanced oil
market for 2026, reversing earlier expectations of tighter supply. Losses were
capped, however, by concerns over potential U.S. interception of additional
Venezuelan oil shipments. Hence, Brent crude eased by 0.3% to settle at
$61.12 per barrel.
