Crude oil prices decreased on Monday, as fears of a global supply glut and a
weak demand outlook continued to weigh on sentiment. Analysts warn markets
could enter 2026 in surplus, with rising OPEC+ and non-OPEC output meeting
sluggish demand growth, especially in China and Europe. Hence, Brent crude
fell by nearly 1% to settle at $60.56 per barrel.
